We are proud to announce that Thew Arnott has been appointed Unipektin Ingredients AG's sole distributor for the UK and Eire. Unipektin Ingredients is based in Switzerland and is a leading manufacturer of pectins and other thickening agents that are used extensively by the food industry under the globally known brand names of Vidogum, Vidogel, Vidofix and Vidocrem.

Organic Lecithin - 20/9/2009

Thew Arnott is now able to offer organic lecithin in addition to organic guar gum, organic locust bean gum, organic liquorice, organic psyllium husk and organic beeswax.

Halal Certification - 17/9/2009

We are pleased to announce that our Deeside plant has received Halal certification from The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America.

BRC Certification for Deeside - 1/9/2009

We are very pleased to announce that for the second year in a row our Deeside facility has achieved the highest level certification (Grade A) of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 5) for the Processing, Storage and Distribution of Lecithin & Lecithin Blends, and also the Cert-ID Non-GMO Standard for Traceability and Identity Preservation.

Food Ingredients Europe - 20/6/2009

Members of the Thew Arnott team will be at FiE Europe which takes place between the 17th and 19th November 2009 on CE Roeper's stand number 8H39.

Porter Foods at Bar 09 - 14/6/2009

Porter Foods will be exhibiting on stand B74 at the Bar Show 09 at Earls Court 2 on the 23rd and 24th June. All visitors are welcome to sample our wild hibiscus flowers and to meet with Michael Patton, who heads the business.
