Soja Austria



Soja Austria is an Austrian company, with its head office in Vienna. It was formed by a merger between several Austrian soy mills and it is now the leading supplier of full fat non-GMO soya products to the European baking, confectionery and cereals industries. By selecting the soybean seed varieties that were suitable for the Austrian soil and climate, Soja Austria became independent of the developments in other soybean-growing countries. When, in 1996, the company started to contract Austrian farmers to cultivate only select non-GMO seed varieties, this put it in a position to develop and manufacture products that have now become very well established in the food recipes and formulations of all major EU food manufacturers. Soja Austria works on the basis of an independently certified "farm to fork" IP (identity preserved) system, which complies fully with all the regulations and laws of the EU. Moreover, the company's automated, state-of-the-art production plants run according to a continuously updated HACCP systems and by means of regular audits carried out by its by its customers, the company is able to continually improve its product safety. Soya Austria's criteria are not the usual standard qualities, but rather a range of customised products that meet its customers' demands.
