Kerax Limited was founded in 1962 and specialises in the manufacture and supply of paraffin/slack wax, petroleum jelly, wax blending and toll/contract manufacturing and bulk liquid storage both heated and unheated.

The company's ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing plant is located in Chorley Lancashire and employs 40 people. It produces 12,000 tonnes of finished product per annum and has 600 tonnes of bulk storage capacity. Products are supplied in bulk, pastilles, slabs, drums and tins depending on the customers' requirements.

Kerax's products are used in a wide range of industrial applications. These include engineering, electrical, packaging, adhesives, food processing, medical and cosmetic products, wax polishes, textiles, candles, wax crayons, equestrian goods, rubber and plastics and lost investment wax casting.
